The Annual Fundraiser

An Evening Full of HOPE.

Join us for hors d'oeuvres, food stations, live music, raffles, auctions, AND MORE! It's going to be special, and it's going to be different. For the first time EVER, there is a treatment on the market for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) thanks to the generous donations from people like you. We are grateful. We are hopeful. But, with this treatment not being financially accessible for all, we still have a lot of work to do. So, on August 26th, we want to celebrate how far we've come and still recognize how far we have to go.

Because this year is all about celebrating, these celebrations come with a change in scenery. Located on the Providence River in downtown, Skyline at Waterplace is a brand new, luxurious venue that overlooks the city skyline. With both indoor and outdoor space, glitzy chandeliers, and spacious room to mingle with guests, this venue is certain to bring the WOW factor to the night. Be sure to check out our band, Blurred Vision, and all we have to offer this year below!

How it all began

In August of 2010, the idea to have an annual fundraiser to benefit Cure SMA came to fruition. The event came together as a spur of the moment idea to have a golf tournament, and was planned in a little under six weeks. Despite the short amount of time in which we had to plan, we were pleasantly surprised to have around 100 guests at the event that night. Since then, our annual event has grown tremendously. We now start planning and organizing the event in March with the help of our incredible Pow-WOW committee members who are truly the heart of this fundraiser. Without their volunteerism, this event wouldn't be possible.
